# Wie nute ich die gesamte Kapazität einer neuen Festplatte mit mehr als 2 Terabyte?

Wenn Sie nicht zugewiesenen Speicherplatz auf einer neuen Festplatte mit mehr als 2 Terabyte finden, können Sie dieses Problem beheben, indem Sie ein Master-Boot-Record- (MBR) Medium in ein GUID-Partition-Table- (GPT) Medium umwandeln.   
Bitte beachten Sie, dass durch die Umwandlung alle Daten auf dem Laufwerk gelöscht werden. Vergewissern Sie sich also davon, dass Sie richtige Laufwerk umwandeln; andernfalls könnte das Betriebssystem beschädigt werden.   
Dieses Video zeigt, wie Sie durch Umwandlung die gesamte Kapazität einer neuen Festplatte mit mehr als 2 TB nutzen.
